Vintage Thorarson T-1A56 Tru Fidelity Tube-to-Line Output Transformer Tested

Never used vintage Thordarson T-1A56 Tru-Fidelity single plate to line output transformer. 4k:500/333/250/200/125/50. This model is designed to support 25mA DC in the primary with a single 6F6 or similar tube (6V6 can be used in place of a 6F6 with similar results). Max level was specified at "+10dB", which was the "standard" prior to the 1939 VU specification, and doesn't mean the same thing it does today. This "old" rating approach was based on 6mW into a 500r line, not the same as dBM or dBu. Actual max level would be closer to +18dBm in power terms. You can cap-couple it and get 30-15k, but you're not going to hear a huge difference.
This transformer was never used and is essentially NOS, but I listed it as "open box".
